Who would have thought I'd be flying back to Los Angeles so soon?...this time instead of doing the vehicle buying, I'm accompanying my friend Sue...who is doing the vehicle buying...she just bought her new car at Jim Falks Lexus of Beverly Hills...and I'm going along on the trip to help her drive it home...something I wish I had the presence of mind to arrange for myself...
If it wasn't for Sue, I probably would never have bought my new-to-me car...it's her overwhelmingly positive experience with an earlier model that persuaded me to take the leap...and now that there's a nationwide Lexus "Golden Opportunity" sales event that started this week, prices are lower than when I made my purchase...she's getting an even better deal than I did...on an even newer model...with even more options...
I couldn't be happier for her...and helping her drive back seems the least I can do...besides, it will give me time to read the Owner's Manual...the one for my new-to-me car that I still haven't cracked open...
And this time...on this trip...I swear I will stop long enough to take at least a photo or two...
