You can't always get what you want...and in this case I can't even get what I need...after redesigning my blog page to use only excerpts, the related images no longer appear...and changing that would require switching the entire site to a different template that supports that function...
For people like me...people for whom nothing exceeds like excess...there's something inherently wrong with this sort of extreme minimalism...and for now, I'm choosing to go with it...because there is also something inherently wrong with working as hard as it would take to change it...
Speaking of excess...bedroom at the Grand Trianon, Versailles, France where royals "escaped the formality of court life"...
