I hesitated to title this post in this way...as if it might truly portend an endless number of problems with my newest Mac...this time it's with my Aperture software...or maybe it's my hard drive...or maybe it's my RAM...AppleCare support doesn't know...even the second level engineers working with me on this problem have not determined its cause...
I do have one thing going for me: I'm a seasoned user who knows how to document a problem...and you'll have to trust me that this problem is so unusual, no one at Apple would believe me if I didn't have before and after screen shots...

The problem?... newly added photography projects magically disappear...first my Mac lost my photos of the Pour House...then it all the photos in a new project I created while Apple used its screen sharing software to watch my every move...
In my thirty years of using Macs, I've never experienced anything like this...and if it continues, there may be a Windows computer in my future...
I can't believe I just wrote that...
