Have you ever moved heaven and earth to fit something into your tight schedule?...that's what I will be doing later today...even though I think I know what's coming and there won't be any real surprises...
Yes, it's time for another "invitation only" event at Apple Inc...funny how I'm never invited...despite buying at least of almost every product they have ever manufactured during the last 25 years...desktops?...many...laptops...even more...iOS devices...who's counting?...
I even bought Newton MessagePads 100, 120 and 2000 and Quicktake Cameras 100 and 200...all of which I still have...neatly tucked away in their original packaging...unopened for at least 10 years...(I accuse my husband of buying unnecessary tools...and keeping things long after they have outlived their usefulness...gee, I guess those three fingers really do point back toward me)...
So I'm not going to let the lack of an invitation stop me...no, between going to the airport and the doctor's office, I'm going to squeeze in a little live streaming...crashing the Apple event the only way I can...remotely...with Gizmodo...and, yes, while there are many other websites that will be streaming this event, only Gizmodo typically offers the kind of irreverent commentary I truly appreciate...
And one more thing...I really miss Steve...he was so good at keeping secrets...
Gizmodo will be broadcasting Apple Inc's live event tomorrow at 9AM Pacific Time...
